John that is awesome that you & Heather will take care of her Grandmother & Aunt. What a blessing. I cared for my bed ridden mother for 2 years, & would do it again in a heart beat. It will be tough at times, but the lord will bless you. You both have a kind loving heart. Baby Jack will be spoiled real good now:-) I will pray you find a job.
Look forward to seeing you'll again & meeting Jack.

Hey John,
I was thinking about you and Heather, knowing that it must still be difficult for you both having lost such an awesome man. I did not know him, but your eloquent words helped me get a glimpse of who he was. As one man's life obviously touched many people, you have touched my heart in being the man of God that you are and I pray joy and peace always to you, Heather, and soon to be Baby Cheatham! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and heart on your loved one! His love continues through you both and God's light shines from you both all the more! With love!

That also hit me at the service. I remember how he helped you when your kneecap was shattered, not only with the bathroom, but keeping the grass cut and doing whatever needed doing in the way of maintance around the house. I did not know him as well as you
or as well as his family, but knew that he had a good heart. I really enjoyed talking to him when we got together. I feel blessed to have known him.

You embedded fantastically! I just wish someone had asked the Pastor not to wear that shirt. It's totally messing with my eyes! (Is it just me or do you see that??) Thank you for putting this up because this was about 2 weeks before I started and I'm so excited to get to *see* it and not just hear it! I'm Angie, by the way -- got baptized last night at Refuel -- and going to Starting Point on Sunday so *really* new. :) Nice to "meet" you!

Hey, you don't have to agree on all this stuff to get along...but you do have to be prepared for all the theological discussions that you will have with my husband on the subjects that you differ on...all of which he will not give you the last word on :) and will probably deem himself the 'winner' of all such debates! Hehe! Nice run-on sentence there.

I do ask him often if you think he is crazy...with all his silly singing during video tests, and the hard times that he gives you!!

John,
Good stuff, bro. I appreciate your perspective on this whole issue. I also wanted to say how encouraging it is to see I.T. and production-minded guys like yourself also have an interest and feel a responsibility to be grounded in right doctrine and to be able to communicate it clearly. I consider my brother, Jacob, at Richland Creek Community Church to likewise fall in this category. There are to many church "staff" today who are involved in the behind-the-scenes production side of things who couldn't tell you what they believe about Scripture and Christian doctrine if their life depended on it--much less use their blog as an outlet for communicating the same. I appreciate that about you. Your type is few and far between. Keep it up!! Blessings. .josh.
